I will show you an interesting webpage which is I often using. I am interested in Disney characters very much. I had watched Disney films since I was a child. There are so many fans of Disney all over the world I think. And Disney gives many people love, dream and hope. It is loved by many many people. If you search about Disney on internet, you can get about 599,000,000 sites!!

First I will tell you history of Disney. Disney animation was created by Walt Disney and his brother. Walt's real name is Walt Elias Disney. He was born in Chicago, Illinois in the U.S. in 1901. He was drawing some animation for children when he was 19 years old, and after he grow up he went Hollywood with bringing his work. And he contracted with a big company. At the same time, Walt's brother Loi estublished a Walt Disney Production. Walt's first contracted work was "Alice's Adventure in Wonderland". Walt's first popular animation character was Oswald. Do you know Oswald? It is kind of rabbit. It is very cute.:-) And his masterpiece is Mickeymouse. There is no person who doesn't know Mickeymouse. And he estublished a Disneyland in California in 1955. I think it is the most dreamy theme park in the world.

I have not ever been Tokyo Disney Resort. My mother have been there when she was young and she said "It is so dreamy! You should go!". I am planning to go Tokyo Disney Resort next spring with my friends.:-) I can't wait----!!!!

And Disneyland has many interesting, fantastic and dreamy event. For example, New Year, an event in summer , Halloween and Christmas. Many cute disney characters meet us in dreamy land. It must be fantastic!

Do you know KGU have some interesting classes in cumpus? I am taking "Movie English" class this semester. The teaching materials of this class is movie!:-) I am always enjoying this class because I like watching films very much. Now we watch Notting Hill in a class as a material of teaching. Have you ever watched that before? Notting Hill is very romantic and interesting. I can't help with sympathy and laughing. The main actor and an actress are Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. They are one of my favorite actor and actress.

If you see a TV personality, what do you do? And in addition, if you have dating with him or her where will you go?

Good news!

I got an email 2 days ago which was with very good news. One of my friend had a new baby! The baby's name is Lucas. He is over six weeks now. I'm a friend with his father Kurt. I met him when I was elemetary school student. Yes, out first met was 10 years ago. I also surpise the time passed very fast!

Kurt lives in Seattle in the U.S. and he has a Japanese wife. She is from Osaka and she had lived in Seattle for 5 years. Kurt has his oldest daughter. Her name is Claire. She is very cute and sweet baby girl.:-) Maybe she is 2 or 3 years old.

Four years ago, I went Shanghai to see him because he had lived in Shanghai to work. He showed me many things around the city. And Kurt taught me how interesting English is 10 years ago. I appreciate for him very much.

After I graduate I will visit Seattle to see them. I'm looking forward to seeing them so much!;-)

MR 2-02 Remember The Titans

Have you ever watched this film before? This is also base on true story. Long time ago, there was a cruel discrimination between whites and blacks. Sadly to tell the truth, there IS a discrimination around the world now.

This film represent in 1971. If I show you about my impression of this film simply, it's kind of movie of friendship. But this story teaches us more important things.

The main actor of this film is Denzel Washington (Coach Boon). He is one of a famous and popular actor in the world I think. And the other main actors are Gerry Bertier (Ryan Hurris) and Julius Campbel (Wood Harris). This story is base on happening which happened in Virginia in United States of America. At that time whites and blacks are hate each other's. They didn't tried to talk even a simple word "hi". But Coach Boon tried to socialize with themselves through football. And he formed a football team "TITANS". My best impression point of this film is coach Boon took the teammates to Gettysburg and he said to them " So many young people died here about one hundred years ago. Why are you hate each other? WHY!? If you have feel anything, you don't have any rights to play football each other anymore." This word made me cry and moved.

After that, they tried to talk gradually. Coach Boon is very strict and rigorous but he loves his students even whites. I thought he is so brave and gently. I can't watch this film dispense with tears.

MR 2-01 The Man In the Iron Mask

Do you like watching fimls? I like watching films very much. I often watch interesting film in my free time. I like love romance, action and CG animation film like Toy Story. And I don't like movie on horror and some kind of psychic. I always watch movies when I don't have my part-time job at my apartment.
Let me introduce of my favorite film today. My favorite film's tytle is " The Man In the iron Mask". Do you know this film? It's base on true story and the main actor of this film is Leonardo Dicaprio. He had appeared many many films by now. I put up a link of him. Check it out!

This film is about Louis 14th. There is a rumor that the Louis 14th was twin. There were three famous knighs of Louis 14th. And the Louis 14th was despotic and selfish so the knights tried to change the king of France. I thought how brave they were. The three knights failed their plan many times but they didn't give up to doing that.
The film show us the charm point of a brave man act and the tie of friendship I think. This story is not difficult and it is mysterious and thrilling. It must makes you exciting. I don't write detail of outline and the ending because I want you to watch this film by yourself. This film doesn't never make you regret. I promise you! I watched this film 5 times at least!:-)

BR 2-02 Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

There is no person who doesn't know "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". Most of people read this story when they are child. I also know this story by reading and watching video tape. This time, I read this story of Robert Sabuda Pop-Out Art in English. Do you know Robert Sabuda? He is one of a famous autor of Pop-Out Art. I introduce about him simply.

Robert Sabuda was born in Pinkny in Michigan. His father was a dentist and he read a Pop-Out Art at waiting room for the first time. He moved with Pop-Out Art. And then he tried to make it by himself for his parents. He was 8 years old. After he graduate school, he learend about Pop-Out Art and art at Plat Institute in NY. He intended to be an illustrator at that time.

The book which is supervision by him is very popular amoung young people and also adults. His Pot-Out Art is very precise and we can feel pulse. I am his fan too. Essay -favorite-

Most of people know the place where I like. It is Kumamoto Castle. Do you know Kumamoto Castle? Kumamoto Castle had 400th birthday last year and we celebrated magnificently. And Honmaru-Goten has restored last year. Have you ever visited Honmaru-Goten before? I like all part of Kumamoto Castle but there are many charms.

The best favorite place of mine is Ninomaru-park. Do you know that? Kumamoto Castle consists of some large parks and many buildings. Ninomaru-park is one of it. If you go Ninomaru-park, you can see wide blue sky, beautiful white clouds and feel fresh air. It makes people relax and makes forger some noise in society. There are many trees in the park and people can take a rest under the tree relaxing. And in the evening, you can see very beautiful sunset beside the Castle. It is sublime scenery view.

And in the afternoon in weekend or holiday, there are many families, couples and animals in the park. Most of people have lunch under the beautiful sky and on a green grass. I can see many smiles at that time when I go the park. Smile makes people happy and calm. You must feel happiness with their smile when you visit. Sometime I can hear some cry but it doesn't make you sad. The cry is heartwarming.

Of course we can play in the park. People play Baseball, badminton and play catch. Some people practice HIP-HOP dancing. Ninomaru-park is full of smiles and laughter. Nowbody gets angry if someone runs fast. Sometimes we can see a baby who practicing walking with her (or his) mother and father. The view of scene makes me cheerful. I think Ninomaru park is one of making happiness place. Don't you think so?

And last, we can see many and good things at Ninomaru-park. For example animals and flowers. Especially we can see beautiful cherry blossoms around the castle. Kuamamoto Castle is one of famous view point of cherry blossoms in Kumamoto prefecture. So many people come to see cherry blossoms in Spring and they have Hanami under the cherry blossoms. And there are some boothes near the castle.

Kumamoto Castle is very charming, historical and happy making place.

BR 2-01 Real American Ice Cream

I read a very interesting tale this week. The title is "Real American Ice Cream". It is different title between Japan and the U.S. "Yomogi-Ice" is the title in Japan.

This story is about difference of life in Japan and America when the author was in the U.S. The author Hiiragi Nonaka lived in N.Y for 4 years after she graduated Rikkyo University and she wrote some stories based on her own experiences. She wrote the story enjoyable and sometime piquant. She is very famous for young women in Japand and around Asia.

I have been to some foreign countries before but I did just sightseeing. Of course I couldn't do "real communication" with native people. When I was high school student I stayed Melbourne for 5 months and I had many many good experiences with host family and classmates but I had also some problems. I tried to solve the problem but I couldn't...because I am a Japanese...

If I study English much harder to communicate better than now, there are unaccountable problems between two people.

Free write -about favorite place-

My favorite place is Kumamoto castle because it just beautiful and magnificent. Especially I like Kumamoto castle in spring and fall because in spring, we can see many cherry blossoms. And in fall we can see red and yellow leaves as a background. Kumamoto castle has been standing Kumamoto for 400 years. Last year Kumaoto had a big event about Kumamoto castle's 400th birthday. It is symbol of Kumamoto prefecture.
At Ninomaru Park, there are so many people in fine days. They play catch, games, having lunch. They look very hapy.

favorite fall activity

I like sports very much. I was a member of high school vallyball club when I was high school student and sometime I go high school and I teach vallyball to students with coach. And I also like basketball and table tennis with my friend at Round-1. I like doing something than reading. In fall all of leaves turn red. It is Koyo. In my hometown there are lots of green so I like hometown which is in fall.
